Community Guidelines

A safer, faith-centered space for meaningful connection.

GraceMeet is designed for adults who want to date with honesty, respect, and shared values. These guidelines help keep our community thoughtful, trustworthy, and focused on real connection.

For adults 18+

Faith-based values and how we keep you safe

Our community values

GraceMeet is built around faith, kindness, and intentional dating. We ask every member to help create a space where people feel respected and safe.

Respect

Treat every person with dignity, patience, and kindness — even when there is not a match.

Honesty

Use accurate photos, truthful profile details, and clear intentions about the kind of relationship you are seeking.

Faith-centered connection

Share your beliefs sincerely and respectfully. GraceMeet welcomes thoughtful conversations, not pressure or judgment.

Safety

Protect your privacy, report concerning behavior, and help us keep GraceMeet a respectful adult community.

Member expectations

What we expect from members

Be kind and respectful

Speak with care. Harassment, insults, threats, bullying, hate speech, or degrading comments are not allowed.

Be truthful in your profile

Your photos, age, location, relationship intentions, and personal details should represent you honestly. Do not impersonate someone else or use misleading content.

Keep conversations appropriate

GraceMeet is for meaningful dating. Do not send sexual, explicit, aggressive, manipulative, or unwanted messages. Respect boundaries if someone does not want to continue a conversation.

Respect faith differences

Faith is central to GraceMeet, but members may express their beliefs differently. Discuss faith with humility and respect. Do not shame, pressure, or attack others for their denomination, church background, or personal journey.

Use real photos

Photos should clearly show you and follow our photo guidelines. Avoid fake, heavily misleading, stolen, explicit, or inappropriate images.

Protect privacy

Do not share another person's private information, screenshots, contact details, or conversations without permission. Be careful with your own personal information too.

No scams, spam, or solicitation

Do not use GraceMeet to promote services, ask for money, sell products, redirect people to suspicious links, or run scams.

Report concerns

If something feels unsafe, suspicious, or disrespectful, please report it. Reports help us review behavior and protect the community.

Community standards

Not allowed on GraceMeet

To keep GraceMeet safe and respectful, the following behavior may lead to content removal, account restrictions, or account termination. This list is grouped by category for clarity but is not exhaustive — see the operator discretion clause at the end of this section.

Identity, honesty, and trust

  • Fake profiles, impersonation, catfishing, or misleading identity
  • Misrepresenting your relationship status — if you are currently married, in a committed relationship, or otherwise unavailable, you must disclose this in your profile
  • AI-generated or heavily manipulated profile photos (Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, DALL-E, face swaps, deepfakes, or filters that materially misrepresent your appearance)
  • Photos that are not recent (older than 2 years) or that misrepresent your current appearance
  • Multiple accounts, account sharing, account selling or transfer, or attempting to evade a ban by creating a new account
  • Concealing safety-relevant criminal history, including registration on a sex offender registry, or convictions for violent or sexual crimes against persons

Harassment, safety, and harm

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation — on or off the platform
  • Hate speech or attacks based on faith, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, disability, or other personal traits
  • Body shaming, age shaming, or derogatory comments about appearance, weight, height, profession, education, denomination, income, or family status
  • Stalking, doxing, or publishing another member's address, employer, school, or family information
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) — sharing, threatening to share, or possessing intimate images of any person without their explicit, ongoing consent
  • Sextortion or any threat to release private content for money, sexual acts, or any other purpose
  • Drug use, drug paraphernalia, or drug dealing in profile content or messages
  • Firearms or weapons in profile photos (except clearly professional contexts such as uniformed military service)
  • Glorification of violence, gangs, criminal lifestyle, or terrorism
  • Off-platform misconduct against another member — stalking, harassment, NCII distribution on other platforms, or coordinated harassment campaigns involving other apps or social media
  • Repeated unwanted contact after someone has declined, blocked you, or stopped responding

Sexual content and commercial sexual services

  • Sexual, explicit, or pornographic content of any kind in profile photos, bios, or messages
  • Unwanted sexual messages, solicitation, or pressure
  • Commercial sexual services — prostitution, escort services, sugar dating arrangements, or any paid sexual activity
  • Promotion of OnlyFans, adult content platforms, or paid adult subscription services
  • Sex trafficking or trafficking-related content — reported to authorities under FOSTA-SESTA (18 U.S.C. § 2421A)

Scams, fraud, and commercial misuse

  • Romance scams — requesting money, gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or financial assistance from matches
  • "Pig butchering" or steering matches into investment, crypto trading, forex, or get-rich-quick schemes
  • Marriage-for-visa fraud or other transactional relationship offers
  • Catfishing patterns using stolen photos for emotional manipulation
  • Spam, phishing, suspicious links, or malware distribution
  • MLM recruitment, business networking, religious organization recruitment, fundraising, or any commercial activity directed at other members
  • Selling products or services through your profile or messages

Minors and vulnerable persons

  • Underage use of GraceMeet (under 18) or assisting a minor to use the App
  • Any attempt to contact, groom, or solicit a minor
  • Including children — your own or others — in profile photos
  • Exploitation or targeting of vulnerable adults (elderly, cognitively impaired, recently bereaved)

Faith context

  • Disrespecting another member's denomination, church background, or personal faith journey
  • Recruitment into cults, fringe groups, or destructive religious organizations
  • Pressuring matches to convert, change denomination, or adopt specific religious practices as a condition of dating
  • Promotion of violent or extremist religious ideologies
  • Using faith as a manipulation tactic (e.g., claiming divine instruction to override another member's consent, autonomy, or decisions)

Privacy

  • Sharing another person's private information, screenshots, photos, conversations, or contact details without their permission
  • Recording or publishing private conversations or video calls without consent

Technical and service abuse

  • Scraping profile data, photos, or messages
  • Reverse engineering the App, its APIs, or its security systems
  • Using bots, scripts, or automation to interact with the service
  • Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities — responsible disclosure to support@gracemeet.com
  • Attempting to bypass age verification, photo verification, or moderation systems
  • Using VPNs or modified devices to evade account restrictions or country restrictions
  • Submitting false reports to harass other members or manipulate matching

Operator discretion

This list is not exhaustive. We may, in our sole and reasonable discretion, restrict or terminate accounts for any behavior that — in our reasonable opinion — conflicts with the spirit of GraceMeet, harms other members, undermines the safety or integrity of our service, or risks our compliance with platform policies (Apple App Store, Google Play) or applicable law. Behavior that technically complies with stated rules but acts against the spirit of a respectful, faith-centered community may still result in account action.

Zero tolerance

Behavior that results in immediate, permanent termination

The following violations result in immediate permanent account termination across all devices and may be reported to law enforcement and platform safety partners. These decisions are not subject to the standard 30-day appeal process described in our Terms of Use, Section 3.1.

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — reported to the NCMEC CyberTipline under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and to applicable EU and Czech authorities
  • Soliciting, grooming, or attempting to contact minors — including any sexual or romantic communication with a person reasonably believed to be under 18
  • Sex trafficking or trafficking-related content — reported per FOSTA-SESTA (18 U.S.C. § 2421A)
  • Credible threats of physical violence directed at any identifiable person — reported to local law enforcement
  • Terrorism-related content, recruitment, or financing — reported under EU DSA Article 18 and applicable law
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) of identifiable persons — escalated to StopNCII.org, NCMEC where minors are involved, and law enforcement
  • Coordinated harassment, brigading, or organized attacks on members or the service
  • Distribution of malware or other content depicting serious crimes
  • Discovered registration on a sex offender registry or undisclosed conviction for violent or sexual crimes against persons

Faith-centered tone

Dating with faith and intention

GraceMeet is for people who want more than a swipe. You are welcome to share your faith, values, hopes for family, church rhythm, and relationship goals — but always with humility and respect. Meaningful connection grows best where honesty and kindness come first.

Let your conversations reflect the kind of relationship you hope to build: honest, respectful, and rooted in care.

Safety reminder

Your safety matters

We encourage members to move thoughtfully, trust their instincts, and report anything that feels wrong. Meeting someone new should always happen with care.

  • Keep early conversations in the app.
  • Do not send money or financial information.
  • Be cautious with personal details.
  • Meet in public places when you are ready.
  • Tell someone you trust about your plans.
  • Report suspicious or uncomfortable behavior.

Accountability

How we respond

When guidelines are violated, GraceMeet may take any of the following actions, in our reasonable discretion based on the severity, frequency, and risk of the violation:

  • Content removal or photo rejection
  • Warning or temporary feature restriction
  • Suspension of specific features (matching, messaging, photo upload)
  • Temporary or permanent account suspension
  • Permanent account termination across all devices and associated accounts
  • Preservation of evidence and disclosure to law enforcement under valid legal process

Repeat violations, attempts to evade enforcement (such as creating new accounts after a ban), or behavior involving safety risks escalate quickly to permanent termination. Zero-tolerance violations (see section above) result in immediate permanent termination on first occurrence.

Appeals. For non-zero-tolerance restrictions, you may appeal within 30 days by emailing support@gracemeet.com with your account email and a brief explanation. We aim to respond within 14 days. Significant decisions originally made by automated systems are reviewed by a human moderator on appeal, in line with EU DSA Article 17 and GDPR Article 22. See our Terms of Use (Section 3.1 — Account Restrictions and Appeals) for the full procedure.

Cooperation with law enforcement. We comply with valid legal process and proactively report illegal content to appropriate authorities, including the NCMEC CyberTipline, FBI, Europol, and Czech police (including NCOZ for serious cases). Account information of users engaged in serious illegal conduct may be preserved and disclosed under lawful process even after account deletion, in line with applicable law including GDPR Article 6(1)(c) and (f) and DSA Article 18.

Community care

Help keep GraceMeet thoughtful.

Every respectful message, honest profile, and thoughtful report helps build a better community for faith-centered dating.
